THE BIG HISTORY SHOW

The Big History Show – 800 Years of Liverpool comes to St Georges Hall between Friday 14th and Sunday 16th of September for the biggest- ever celebration of Liverpool history in the city’s 800th birthday year!

Maghull and Lydiate U3A Local History Group plan to take part, putting on a display ” From Megele to Maghull -1000 years of history.

Have you got any pictures, articles or stories to contribute? Can you help to mount a display? Can you give a few hours to man the stall?

Britain in Bloom

There will be an inaugural meeting for people in Maghull and Lydiate who would like to be involved in “Britain in Bloom” on Thursday 5th July 2008 at 7.30pm in Maghull Town Hall. There will be a presentation by the highly successful Woolton Village group. Please come along and do your bit for your town.
