The ballroom and sequence dancing group has just completed a very successful 3 years on 11/11/11. Those attending the lessons are now able to perform modern ballroom dances such as the waltz, quickstep, foxtrot and ballroom tango. Latin dances rumba and cha cha. The group has also learnt a number of popular sequences dances including modern sequence dances salsa mexicana and lets swing.
Each year we have held a summer and a christmas tea dance.
Earlier this year the group attended the beautiful Palm House in Sefton Park
.
This year we held two evening socials a summer party and a halloween party.
We are hoping to have more social evenings in 2012. We would like to thank all who attended the socials and the lessons.
The most pleasing aspect of the lessons is the obvious enjoyment of the dancers and the progress they have made.

The new group started on 14/09/11. The group has proved to be very popular. We have a waiting list and in the new year several new line dancers will be joining us.
The group after a tentative start soon began to enjoy themselves owing to the relaxed atmosphere.
