Thursday 8th March: Case Histories, Kate Atkinson

Stephen King ….. rated Kate Atkinson’s Case Histories “not just the best novel I’ve read this year, but the best mystery of the decade”.

Friday 9th March: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Paul Torday.

This author was nudging 60 when he wrote his first novel – now it’s a film starring Ewan McGregor. See interview with Jasper Rees .

Books wanted

The Book Clubs welcome new members but we are getting to the point where will need to form a third group – speak to David or Anne if you are interested.

Donations of books are still needed for sale to members at our Tuesday Coffee mornings. Please note the books should be in excellent saleable condition. Generally books are offered for sale at only 50p each, or 3 for £1 with funds raised supporting U3A activities.
